Concrete Learning
Learning Stage 1
For students who needs more time learning with concrete mass. Gives students the opportunity to learn math by manipulating objects.
Pictorial Learning
Learning Stage 2
For students who has spent adequate time with concrete mass and are ready to draw out objects to solve math questions.
Abstract Learning
Learning Stage 3
This type of learning is for students who have mastered both concrete and pictorial skills in mathematics and are ready to learn math in an abstract way.

Tutoring Policies and Procedures
My goal is to create a consistent, supportive learning environment where students feel confident and families feel informed. Please read the tutoring policies and procedures. These policies help ensure smooth communication, predictable scheduling, and a positive experience for everyone.

Payment Due Payment is due the day before the first tutoring session of each month.
Accepted Forms of Payment Cash, check, Zelle, and PayPal.
Late or Missing Payments Failure to submit payment on time may result in early termination of the tutoring contract.

$5 mailing fee
Must be postmarked by the due date
Late postmark results in a late fee added to the following month’s invoice

A “no‑show” is defined as a missed session with no communication before or during the scheduled time.
No‑shows are charged the full session fee
No credit or rescheduling is available

The session will be credited and may be used at any later date
Within 24 hours of the session
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session may be rescheduled within the next 48 hours, subject to availability. If a rescheduled session is not completed within this 48‑hour window, the session fee is forfeited

No refund or credit will be provided
Definition of Notice Communication from the parent via email or text stating that the student will be unable to attend the scheduled session.

To support a smooth and productive learning experience, please ensure:
The device used for tutoring is fully charged or plugged in
The student is in a quiet, distraction‑free space

Emails will be returned within 24–36 hours
Texting is reserved for urgent or time‑sensitive matters only
Running late
Sudden illness
